Chaxalactins

The aim of this project is the development of the first total synthesis of chaxalactins using a modular and efficient approach, allowing the introduction of structural diversity. Chaxalactins present interesting biological activities (antibiotic and antitumoral) and therefore are of interest. The strategy will allow the synthesis of various analogues and their activity will be evaluated to study the structure activity relationships of these compounds.
