Lhoste, Jerome
Après un Master Professionnel spécialité Granulat et Colloides en 2005, j'ai effectué un CDD en tant qu'ingénieur d'études pendant lequel j'ai travaillé sur la synthèse de fluorures inorganiques pour l'optique et la catalyse. En 2007, j'ai poursuivi une partie de ce travail lors de ma thèse au Mans. J'ai également travaillé sur les fluorures hybrides à base de titane en collaboration avec l'IMN de Nantes. Après un stage postdoctoral d'un an à l'UCCS de Lille en 2010 sur les composés hybrides pour le nucléaire, j'ai été recruté en tant que maître de conférences en 2012 dans le groupe des fluorures du département Oxydes et Fluorures.
Activité
Les principaux sujets dans lesquels je suis impliqué concernent principalement la nanostructuration de fluorures inorganiques et l'obtention de nouveaux fluorures hybrides à porosité variable.
La nanostructuration de fluorures inorganiques concerne des familles de composés connus de type MF3 (Al, Fe): pyrochlore et HTB. Nous tentons de démontrer que ces matériaux sont dignes d’intérêt dans le domaine de l’énergie selon leurs propriétés en adsorption d'hydrogène, en électrochimie pour les phases au fer en tant que matériaux cathodiques et en catalyse hétérogène pour celles à l'aluminium.
L'obtention de nouveaux fluorures hybrides concerne des composés de type Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) dans lesquels la molécule organique est un azole. Si une dizaine de fluorures microporeux ont pu être obtenu en présence d'amines cycliques de cations métalliques divalents 3d et/ou de cations trivalents, leur porosité est trop limitée pour prétendre à des propriétés d'adsorption. Un travail de collaboration avec le département MS (G. Dujardin, A. Martel) a permis la synthèse de ligands originaux à plusieurs noyaux tétrazoles. L' implication de ces ligands plus grand a conduit à l'émergence de plusieurs MOFs fluorés à porosité variable allant jusqu’à 60% de porosité.
