My research focusses on the characterization of the structure and the mechanical properties of complex liquids and gels based on polymers. I use mainly static and dynamic light scattering, confocal laser scanning microscopy and rheology.

Current research topics are:

-structure and mechanical properties of dense suspensions and gels formed by milk proteins. This work is in large part done in collaboration with partners from food industries.

-water-in-water emulsions stabilized by particles.

-functional hydrogels formed amphiphilic block copolymers

-structure and mechanical properties of polysaccharide solutions and gels.
